Palau de Congressos de Catalunya

The Palau de Congressos de Catalunya, with more than 30 function rooms and auditoriums for every class of event is characterized by the two spacious exhibition areas.

The multi-purpose function room offers 1,084m² of space with a ceiling height of 3.95 meters. The key feature here is its great versatility, given that it can be partitioned into 18 modular rooms, thereby making it an ideal space for holding every type of event from a small meeting to a grand banquet or an exhibition. There are two separate entrances to the room, one of which is through our spectacular gardens.

Another of the more important spaces within the Palau is the Exhibition Hall  and with an overall surface area of 2,000 m² and 7-meter high ceilings, it is an ideal area for holding your event. The room itself has excellent natural lighting given the large windows on both sides of the Hall.  The space is extremely versatile and can de divided into two rooms, one measuring 600 m² and another, much larger of 1,450 m² with a capacity to hold 1,900 people.

There are two entrances to the exhibition area for loading and unloading. One directly leading from the Avenida Diagonal, and through the car park by way of the freight elevator with capacity for a vehicle and another entrance for the public through the main entrance.

Services
The maintenance department will assist you in the design and electrical set up of your stand.
The area is equipped with the latest technology and provides broadband Internet access of up to 100MB and WiFi Internet connection in the convention centre.
And for those who require some additional space for business meetings, the centre has almost fifty rooms of varying sizes and capacities, available, including the hotel function rooms and the marquees located in the hotel gardens.

Within our facilities exhibitors can avail of the accommodation offer at the Hotel Rey Juan Carlos I, with 432 rooms and suites. The hotel complex also boasts one the world’s most renowned urban spa’s, The Royal Fitness & Spa. Enjoy our fine cuisine at our Polo Restaurant which offers an a la carte and buffet menu, located in the main hall of the Hotel, and The Garden, Restaurant & Lounge, specializing in modern Mediterranean cuisine, beautifully located in the heart of our spacious gardens.
